What made you join MDS?
My love for dance! I’ve been dancing since I was 4 years old and always wanted to learn Ballroom and Latin dancing. When I saw the price for the year, I immediately signed up.

Why did you apply to join the Comm?
I enjoyed dancing at MDS so much and wanted to be more involved in everything.

What aims/goals do you have for MDS next year?
I not only want more people to join MDS next year, but also want to start a disabled dance class again and would also like the Adult class to be bigger. I would like to see more socials and interaction with other societies and have a big group going up to Pretoria for Intervarsity. I want MDS to feel like one big family and that members are always there for each other, because amazing friendships are formed in the society!

I love animals, music and dancing. I can play a few instruments but mainly play the flute. I’ve got my teachers in Ballet and also did tap.

I hope that in this year MDS will once again become the society where people can’t wait to come to dance every week. Where it’s the place where a smile is put on your face as soon as you walk into dance class. The place that feels like home…
