CISU conduct second semester Chinese profiency tests
The Confucius Institute at Stellenbosch University (CISU) conducted Chinese language proficiency tests on 17 October 2015. More than forty students sit for the Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) and Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi Kouyu (HSKK) tests.
HSK is short for Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi, which means Chinese proficiency test, sets 6 levels for examinees. And HSKK as for Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (Kouyu), focus on spoken Chinese, with the levels of basic, intermediate and advance.
The CISU holds HSK and HSKK tests twice a year, May and October, for residents and students of Stellenbosch.
