Topic: The Art of Sympoiethics

Sympoiethics originates from Miche’s doctorate as a term to evoke ways of knowing with and through the artful bodymind. It combines ‘sympoieisis’ (becoming-with) and ‘ethics’, a term rooted in ‘ethe’, which refers to co-creation from co-dwelling. Sympoiethics grounds us in an everyday ethics of care. In hosting food and land rituals, Thinking-Listening encounters and Forums of Inspiration combined with material and performative artworks, they foster relationships between our human selves within the embrace of our sentient Earth. For this performative presentation, Miche and Flora will be sharing experiences of the art of ritual as a convivial and liberatory praxis.

Join us as Dr Miche Fabre Lewin and Dr Flora Gathorne-Hardy take us through the fascinating topic that is the Art of Sympoiethics.
