Dear Woman of Equité
Congratulations on being conditionally accepted at Stellenbosch University and welcome to Equité Private Student organisation! Your university experience is said to be one of the most exciting times of your life, not only are you obtaining a degree, but you are learning key life lessons which enhance your own self-enrichment. It is for this reason that Equité Private Student Organisation (PSO) strives to contribute to the holistic growth of its members.
Equité, like all other PSOs, is an organisation that caters for students who do not live in residences in order to provide them with a similar social structure to that of residence students. It is important to note that Equité PSO does not provide physical accommodation for its members. However, our position in the amaMATIES Cluster gives us access to the amaMATIES Hub at which you are welcome to study during those much anticipated tests and exams, or simply meet and socialize with fellow students over a nice braai or coffee date.
Equité is a female PSO that values Friendship, Love, Passion, Perseverance, Respect and Unity. Most importantly we pride ourselves on our commitment to creating a truly welcoming and inclusive space that stimulates self-empowerment. We therefore encourage you to participate and to contribute to the growth of our PSO in any way you feel most fit. Our various sports teams, committees, mentor groups, sêr group, culture evenings, tours and dances which run throughout the year are all experiences not to be missed!
