Prospective Students

Welcome to our prospective students page. Goldfields is the oldest mixed gender, mixed race koshuis at the University of Stellenbosch and in fact in South Africa. This is a fact we are very proud of and one that we feel puts us as a res at the forefront of all residences in South Africa. The Goldfields experience is a very unique one, first year Goldies learn to become brothers and sisters in the diverse family that is Goldfields. We at Goldfields believe in living a balanced lifestyle and thus encourage all our students to focus on their academics but at the same time to take part in extra-mural activities such as sport or culture. It is our vision to send out balanced Goldies into the world as we feel that this better prepares them for life.
