Hoe om aansoek te doen?

As jy daaraan dink om ‘n Goldie te word, wil ons graag van jou hoor.
Die eerste stap is om by die Universiteit aansoek te doen en Goldfields as jou eerste koshuis aan te dui.

Jy kan dit eenvoudig doen deur om op die volgende skakel te volg:

30 Junie 2013 Koshuisaansoeke
30 Junie 2013 Aansoeke vir al die ander programme, met laat aansoeke tot 30 September. Let asb. daarop dat laat aansoeke slegs oorweeg sal word as daar nog plek in die bepaalde program is.

In die tweede plek, moet ‘n CV aan ons voor die afsnydatum gestuur word.
Jou CV moet asseblief die volgende insluit:

  1. Graad 11 Desember eksamen punte (Jy moet ook ‘n afskrif stuur van jou Graad 12 Junie eksamen, sodra jy dit ontvang het)
  2. Kontakbesonderhede
  3. Voorlopige studentenommer NB!
  4. Alle buitemuurse aktiwiteite waaraan jy die afgelope 4 jaar deelgeneem het en/of leierskapsposisies wat beklee is
  5. Verwysings
  6. Enige addisionele inligting wat jy dink van belang mag wees
  7. ‘n Kort motivering hoekom jy Goldfields gekies het
  8. Stuur asseblief jou CV in elektroniese formaat (bv.’n Word dokument) aan avanwyk@sun.ac.za.Onthou om Goldfields as jou eerste keuse te plaas wanneer jy aansoek doen, sodoende staan jy ‘n beter kans om plek te kry hierso.

How to apply?

If you are also thinking of becoming a Goldie, we will be glad to hear from you.
Firstly you must fill in the application form the University and choose Goldfields as your first choice of accommodation.

30 June 2013 Residence application
30 June 2013 Applications for all other programmes, with late applications until 30 September. Please note that late applications will only be considered if space is still available in the particular programme

Secondly you must send your CV before the cut-off date.
This document must include the following:

    1. Grade 11 December exam marks (You must also send us a copy of your Matric June exam results as soon as you receive them)
    2. Contact Details
    3. Your temporarily student number NB!
    4. Any extamural activities which you’ve participated in the last 4 year and also any significant leadership roles/achievements which were awarded to you
    5. References
    6. Any other information that is relevant
    7. A short motivation why you have chosen to join Goldfields

Please remember to put us as your first choice when filling in your university accommodation application form as it stands you in better stead in getting a place in Goldfields.
