KU LEUVEN (BELGIUM)
The partnership with the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven is part of the European Union's Erasmus Mundus Master in Adapted Physical Activity. This postgraduate programme is focused on research and teaching methodology in Adapted Physical Activity (APA). It includes the social, pedagogical and technical aspects of physical activity, adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities.
University of Limerick (Ireland)
The Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at the University of Limerick has been a partner of Stellenbosch University for the past four years in the European Master in Adapted Physical Activity.
A new direction for the partnership is a bi-lateral one in which research in the area of sport vision and biomechanics of golf are explored. Special applications will be made to high performance golfers, as well as golfers with disabilities.
Newman University College (United Kingdom)
The relationship between Newman University College and the Centre is based on their expertise in curriculum development and programme evaluation. Current projects include the development of programmes for the Girls' Leadership and Sport Development Academy and the evaluation youth sport programmes.
