Integrated Medicine and Science

Integrated Medicine and Science (IMAS) identifies an approach to research, learning and community interaction that goes beyond simply gathering multi-disciplinary teams of researchers and professionals and asking them to focus on a particular human performance topic.  The IMAS approach calls for the inclusion of medical and scientific perspectives in all activities, with special attention to innovative approaches and evidence-based practices.

The Centre offers systematic Quality Management and Quality Assurance services based on the IMAS principles, to help guide the optimal sport development of individuals, teams and sport organisations.

The Centre also hosts four units that each focus on key areas for IMAS projects, including collaboration with other academic and professional  partners.
