International Welcome and Orientation Schedule and Programme

The Welcome and Orientation dates for the second semester of 2013 (July - December) have been finalised:

All new International students, arriving at our University in the second semester of 2013, are invited to attend our Welcome and Orientation Programme. These sessions are aimed at providing you with information to ensure a great stay in Stellenbosch, a successful study period at the University and an appreciation of South Africa at large.
 

Amongst other aspects, the Welcome and Orientation programme will deal with:
  • Stellenbosch University's Academic requirements
  • Campus facilities
  • Social events and Student life
  • Culture shock
  • Safety and Security


 
  • 11 - 19 July 2013
 Welcome Centre open from 08:00 - 16:30, Wilcocks Building, in front of room 1012.

  • 17 - 19 July 2013
Welcome and Orientation Programme takes place, Wilcocks Building, Main Hall (Room 1001)
[By completing registration as an SU student, participation in the Welcome and Orientation programme is also confirmed.]
 

 


The Welcome and Orientation Programme will be hosted in Room 1001, Wilcocks Building c/o Ryneveld & Victoria Streets, Stellenbosch University.
  • Incoming students must first report to the Welcome Centre at Stellenbosch University (Wilcocks Building, Room 1001) to conclude registration at SU, and subsequently confirm their partcipation in the Welcome and Orientation programme.
  • Upon registration, please submit: copy of passport, valid Visa, Proof of Health Insurance and Proof of Payment.
 
The PGIO cannot register any student that does not provide us with these documents.
