Please be advised that there are extra charges for minor services (eg. Filling in of pdp forms, diving forms, etc, and repeat prescriptions)

Consultations

  • Doctors:
    Doctors’ consultations are by appointment only (students and staff).
    Day patients are served on a first come, first serve basis should there be any available appointments during the day.

  • Nurses:
    Staff who has a condition that can be attended to quickly – for example, a minor headache – can see a nurse for a minimal fee of R50, excluding consumables and medications.
    Service to students are free and they only pay for consumables and medications.
  • Cost

    The minimum ethical tariff of R260 is charged to non-medical aid patients (excluding consumables/medicine).

    Contraceptives are paid in cash or the patient will receive a prescription to obtain it at another pharmacy.

    TAKE NOTE: All accounts under R50 must be paid in cash immediately after services have been delivered.

    Electronic accounts:

    Accounts can be claimed directly by certain medical aid funds if the patient can provide proof of membership. Accounts can also be settled on a monthly basis by the client or his/her guardian. All international students/staff members are required to pay their fees upfront
