Lobelia is a senior residence for students of Stellenbosch University, where we try to finish something some of us started a long time ago...
Our "Sister" res is Huis de Villiers, whom fall under the same form of management and Visiting warden, but reside on the other side of campus.
To qualify to live in Lobelia you need to be more than 4 years past matric, or a post-graduate student. We have both male and female students and are aiming towards having equal numbers in the close future. We are proud to have a very diverse student body, and a memo written by our current Headstudent and Visiting Warden will aim to keep our level of diversity at a maximum (as this is US policy).
Lobelia houses 59 students in 30 flats, with the Headstudent having a single flat and all other students sharing flats. The res has ample parking facilities and boast a washing room and MINI-RGA.
