Defence Organisation and Resource management
Focus of School For Defence Organisation and Resource Management:
The School aims to provide members of the DoD, specifically future leaders and managers, but also members from other defence forces, with the knowledge, attitudes and skills, to effectively manage the resources and organisational environment of the military. The preceding is accomplished through the presentation of certificate, degree and postgraduate programmes.
The programmes provide the depth of study that allows continued postgraduate and/or research related directions and ensures a comprehensive and well-rounded education in organisational and resource management to successfully shape competent military managers. A study in Organisation and Resource Management promotes critical thinking and sound management through ongoing evaluation and interpretation of the military environment in an interdisciplinary and holistic manner. The School also endorses lifelong professional and personal development through the undertaking of independent studies and aims to inculcate this desire in its learners.
