Presenting complaint was knee pain and swelling over the proximal tibia. Lytic lesion of subchondral and plateau area proximal tibia.Histology Giant cells also osteoid. Xrays and MR suggest sharp transition between bone and tumor of tibial shaft. Soft tissue invasion but no involvement of vessels.
Treatment Limb salvage surgery failed due to sepsis.
AK amputation done. |
