In an effort to develop aspiring young researchers with an interest in Africa, CAI runs an Internship Programme that strives to provide post-graduate students with the opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills in the field of African research and consultancy.
Like CAI, the internship is primarily web-based, and thus (a) offers flexibility to fit into post-graduate's busy schedules, and (b) does not require interns to be based in Pretoria, where our offices are situated. The internship programme runs for 6-months, is un-remunerated, and interns who perform well may be given an opportunity to contribute to CAI's tailored research; offered an internship extension; and/or offered a position on their consultancy team.
