FIELDS OF STUDY

Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

A professional qualification for persons with a Bachelor's degree with appropriate subjects, other than a BEd, who wish to become professional educators.

Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education (Teaching and Learning)

Besides compulsory modules, you may choose one of:

- Academic Leadership and Management

- Citizenship, Social Inclusion and Difference

- ICTs for Teaching and Learning

- Postgraduate Supervision

- Service-learning in Community Engagement

- Work and Learning

Bachelor of Education Honours (BEdHons)

Areas of specialisation offered via the blended learning mode:

Master of Education (MEd)

Independent research producing a dissertation that can withstand international, intellectual scrutiny.

Doctor of Education (DEd)

Sustained research for a continuous period in a particular field of Education in the form of a collection of published work that had been subjected to critical peer evaluation.
