Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)	A professional qualification for persons with a Bachelor's degree with appropriate subjects, other than a BEd, who wish to become professional educators.
Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education (Teaching and Learning)	Besides compulsory modules, you may choose one of: - Academic Leadership and Management - Citizenship, Social Inclusion and Difference - ICTs for Teaching and Learning - Postgraduate Supervision - Service-learning in Community Engagement - Work and Learning
Bachelor of Education Honours (BEdHons)	Areas of specialisation offered via the blended learning mode: Curriculum Inquiry Education Development and Democracy Educational Support Foundation Phase Education Language Education
Master of Education (MEd) (Brochures available on request)	MEd by Research or structured programme in one of these areas: Curriculum Studies Educational Support Psych A professional degree accredited by the Health Professions Council of South Africa for registration as Educational Psychologist after the required internship and Professional Board for Psychology examination.
Master of Philosophy (MPhil) (Brochures available on request)	MPhil by Research or Structurded programme in one of these areas: Higher Education Education and Training for Lifelong Learning
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)	Independent research producing a dissertation that can withstand international, intellectual scrutiny.
Doctor of Education (DEd)	Sustained research for a continuous period in a particular field of Education in the form of a collection of published work that had been subjected to critical peer evaluation.
