All the administration of Postdoctoral Fellowships is handled by the Division for Research Development, in conjunction with the International Office (for international postdoctoral fellows).

Postdoctoral Fellows play an increasingly important role in furthering the research of the University. Such Fellowships also provide recent Doctoral graduates with an opportunity to do research after the Doctoral degree in a different academic environment - sometimes another country - for two or three years. We are privileged to have Postdoctoral fellows from all over the world at Stellenbosch University.
