Project time line: 2017

This project maps research projects in South Africa relevant to rare diseases, with a focus on the nature of research within the country, as well as a wider view of relevant research in BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa). The research team is in contact with relevant local and international patient organisations and other networks who are also interested in rare diseases, including the World Health Organisation.
