Ahoy Ladies and Gents
For those of you who have not yet heard, here are the Results of the USSA National Championships held in Vic Bay on the 26th – 29th of June.
Firstly we would like to congratulate the entire team for all making it to the 3rd round of the event, without anyone getting knocked out. This is a first and reflects the high level of surfing that was displayed this year.
Congratulations to the Maties ladies for all making the semi-finals and to Lisa Mace for going through to the finals and finishing in 3rd place. This great performance by the ladies also placed them in 2nd position of the women’s teams.
Well done to Kurt Dreyer and Devon James Ramages for making it to quarter-finals as well as the other guys who helped the men’s team finish in 4th position, and also helped to place Maties Surfing 4th overall.
We would also like to thank Candice Appollis for her relentless organising efforts to make sure we are able to participate in this event, as well as our sponsor Vitamin Water for their generous contribution.
