Unreserved parking
1.4 Description
1.4.1 A group of parking bays within a specific parking zone (group of parking areas) allocated to a defined group of users, but no one has a claim to a specific parking bay. It works on the principle of first come, first served. Allocation and tariffs are valid from the beginning of January to the end of December.
1.4.2 Should all marked parking bays be occupied, the relevant user must park in the Peripheral parking area. These areas are indicated on the map under Parking areas and maps. All registered users will receive automatic access to the periphery area for the purpose at no additional cost.
1.4.3 In order to promote the optimal utilization of parking and allow for the movement of vehicles, more staff members will be allowed to non-reserved parking as the number of parking bays available. The percentage of additional access is determined by monitoring and the results of a yearly parking audit.
1.4.4 The number of available parking bays per parking area is divided pro rata among the divisions that have access to the relevant parking area with the number of applications received at the first application closing date as point of departure.
