While WWF wishes to support community-based natural resource enterprises with the greatest potential to have positive long-term impacts on nature and livelihoods, the viability of such enterprises is seldom objectively evaluated before they are initiated… The purpose of this assessment is to assess and rank existing candidate enterprises in WWF priority landscapes in Africa, in terms of their future viability and potential long-term contributions to people and nature.
