Wild Plant Value Chain Analysis of Combretum Micranthum, Opuntia Tuna, and Aloe Ferox
30 October 2022
The African flora is one of the richest in the world with 68,000 plant species, and the West African region and South Africa are positioned in a very strategic position in that biodiversity richness. With the interesting selection of plants, the objective of this research report is to explore ways through which sustainable harvesting and valorisation of wild plants through commercialization and possible monetization of provided ecosystem services can contribute to a range of SDG outcomes in the African continent and worldwide.
