Nozipho Ngwabi is a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Researcher at CREST. She is a South African Monitoring and Evaluation Association (SAMEA) legacy board member, where she participated in the Capacity Building portfolio and led the Emerging Evaluators portfolio from 2017 to 2020. She has co-authored in 2 publications, which include an Evaluation Landscape in Africa: Context, Methods and Capacity book chapter on Scandinavian Donors in Africa: A reflection on Evaluation Reporting Standards (2019) with Lauren Wildschut, and an African Evaluation Journal article on Reflections from emerging evaluators in shaping Voluntary Organizations for Professional Evaluation capacity-building initiatives (2020) with Obakeng G. Mpyana and Amkelwa Mapatwana. In addition to her current responsibilities of research, teaching and student support to M & E Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) and MPhil Students, she has supported trainings, evaluations and research in the fields of Health, Social Development, and Education for a range of clients including government, non-governmental organisations, and international development agencies.

She is also currently part of the team supporting and working on the DHET University Capacity Development Grant (UCDG) and the African Evaluation Database (AfrED).
