The fundamentals of a useful evaluation: A Star For Life Casestudy

Russ-Eft and Preskill (2009) define evaluation as “a form of inquiry that seeks to address critical questions concerning how well a programme, process, product, system or organisation is working. It is typically under-taken for decision-making purposes and should lead to a use of findings by a variety of stakeholder”.

With Russ-Eft (2009) and Preskills definition of evaluation, the study will investigate the extent to which Star For Life has used its previous internal and external evaluation for decision-making purposes that impact programme design and implementation.
