Research interests:
Economic geography, particularly the morphological development of urban regions over time, the economic and spatial effects of policy in terms of its effect on population settlement patterns and firm location in a dual-sector economy.
Biography
Yvette Regue is the administrative coordinator at the Centre for Regional and Urban Innovation and Statistical Exploration (CRUISE), Stellenbosch University. Since joining the centre in 2013, her responsibilities include overseeing the financial management of the centre, co-ordinating the curriculum and programme development of post-graduate degrees, managing CRUISE’s short course programmes and conferences, as well as providing support for the local and international post graduate students. Previous positions include senior administrative officer and assistant housing manager for the city of Cape Town and Cape Peninsula University of Technology’s administrative officer.
