Profile

Elzé is an MPhil Sustainable Development student. Her thesis seeks to explore the role of social interactions in spreading change agency in the corporate sector.
Born in Bloemfontein, she spent 16 years of her childhood and teenage years in the Middle Eastern country of Bahrain. She returned to South Africa to study BComm International Business at Stellenbosch University. She spent a semester aboard at Utrecht University, the Netherlands. From there, she completed her PGDip in Sustainable Development in 2020, and is now a Masters student in her second year.
Outside of academics, Elzé does freelance research projects, student assistance, and guest lecturing. Her hobbies include creative writing, photography and art.
