MPhil in Sustainability Transitions

The Centre for Sustainability Transitions offers an innovating and thought-provoking MPhil in Sustainability Transitions.

The MPhil provides students with an understanding and theoretical and practical experience of the wide-ranging contextual, conceptual and thematic issues involved in the planning, management and practice of sustainable development globally. Students can choose from five wide-ranging research themes – knowledge co-production, social-ecological resilience, transformative futures thinking, finance and resource flows, and political economy and development – to position their research.

Applications for the MPhil close on 30 September 2023. Prospective students can apply at http://www.sun.ac.za/english/maties. Once the application is reviewed and you have received communication from Stellenbosch University, prospective students must complete this form, MPhil in Sustainability Transitions application form, which must be sent to Amanda October at aaoctober@sun.ac.za.
