Extended Community Engagement

The Extended Community Engagement (ECE) programmes are designed to allow for a deepened engagement with the communities in Stellenbosch without being academic credit bearing. Site placements are typically in small groups, twice a week.

Each small group works together to design and implement a basic community engagement program in collaboration with their site partners. The practical program is augmented by weekly individual reflective writing and group meetings with the programme coordinator.
