International Food Evening 2017

A highlight on the Stellenbosch University calendar, SU International hosted its first semester International Food Evening on 30 March 2017. The event brought together students from over 24 countries, who prepared cultural dishes from their home countries and competed to win the best dish of the evening. The winning table of the night was the team from Nigeria who won over the crowd with their famous jollof rice. The event created a jovial and multicultural experience, which the coordinator of the event, Angelo Jephtha referred to as “bringing the world to the doorsteps of our students”.
