Fees

NO INTERNATIONAL TUITION FEE (ITF) PAYABLE BY STUDENTS:

  • With permanent residence in SA, including Refugee status students;
  • Enrolled in doctoral programmes;
  • Enrolled in postgraduate programmes delivered on the telematic platform [ITO];
  • With citizenship of countries within SADC including Rwanda

TERMS OF PAYMENT

  • All non-SA students enrolling for the first time: all study fees payable 

       (IRF plus tuition plus service fees) plus 60% of residence fees plus 60% meals quota (if in residence with catering). Outstanding balance 31 May.

  • Only students from Africa: second and further enrolment for degree-seeking students:

       -  60% of study fees plus 60 % of residence plus 60 % meal quota prior to registration. Outstanding balance 31 May

GENERAL COMMENTS

  • Non-Residential IRF only applicable to 1st registration/new intake as from 2017.
  • International Tuition Fee (ITF) only applicable for 1st registration/new-intake as from 2018.
  • Service fees can be reimbursed at the end of the academic year or carried over to the next academic year.
  • Asylum seekers are dealt with according to their citizenship and are expected to pay their full fees prior / on registration.
