From nomination to application

Stellenbosch University has a wide network of partners around the world and students have to be selected and nominated by their home university to apply as an exchange student. All prospective exchange students must be nominated by their home university first, before they will be allowed to submit an application.
 
As soon as the semester exchange coordinators at Stellenbosch University receives a student’s official nomination from their home university and the nomination has been validated, the application instructions as well as other information documents will be sent directly to the student via email.

Guidelines for partner coordinators nominating students:

  • If you are nominating more than 2 students, you will need to complete the form again.
  • After we have received the nominations, we will send a validating email within 2 - 3 days to the nominating institution.

Summary of Nomination Process:

Step 1: The outbound exchange coordinator from the home institution completes the nomination form.

Step 2: The nominations are validated by Stellenbosch University and a confirmation email is provided to the home institution.

Step 3: The student will then receive an email with application instructions and the respective student can then go ahead with the respective application. The application needs to be completed online.
