Philosophical Conversations

Our short courses offer day-long lectures and discussions on interesting topics in philosophy. These topics, addressed in presentations tailored for the general public, include the concept of race, Ubuntu, the meaning of art, genetic enhancement, questions of mind, the concept of free will, just institutions, philosophical counselling, sustainable futures, plant cognition, complex systems, trust, moral luck, critical thinking, the meaning of life, philosophy of history, philosophy of religion, and more. A specific programme for each short course offering will be made available in advance to interested parties.
