Journal of Southern African Studies 2019 Colin Murray Award for post-doctoral research

Charles Dube, who received his PhD in this Department in 2017, with Steven Robins his supervisor, has been awarded the Journal of Southern African Studies 2019 Colin Murray Award for post-doctoral research. He will research the ways in which 3,300 families who were displaced by the construction of the Tokwe Mukosi dam in Masvingo, Zimbabwe are managing the discontinuities in interfamily social relationships in their daily lives.
