A volume on African Cities for which our HOD Lindy Heinecken is senior editor has been published by African Minds and is available as an e-book free of charge. It is entitled Refractions of the National, the Popular and the Global in African Cities edited by Simon Bekker, Sylvia Croese and Edgar Pieterse.
It is downloadable at https://www.africanminds.co.za/refractions-african-cities/ . It includes chapters by four of her former doctoral students about which she is particularly proud! (Sylvia Croese, Liela Groenewald at UJ, Philippe Ibaka and Jean-Pierre Togolo).
