Towards Integrated Student Success: Exploring TLA Conceptualisations and Practices at SU
This workshop will explore the application of systems thinking to enhance student support, focusing on academic advising. Participants will learn how to create a more integrated approach to student success, share challenges and opportunities, and learn from successes and failures. Through interactive sessions, they will explore systems-thinking principles, examine a case study on academic advising, and reflect on current practices at Stellenbosch University. In this way, participants will play an integral part in shaping a more holistic and effective student support system.
