Therapists, patients and students recently came together to celebrate the Bishop Lavis Rehabilitation Centre's 21stanniversary.

It is an academic primary health care centre, and is the only student-driven centre of its kind. Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech, Language and Hearing Therapy, and Dietetic students from Stellenbosch University's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (3rd and 4th year) receive training at this community-based centre.
