Prof Manie Geyer: Emeritus Professor
Manie Geyer is Emeritus Professor at CRUISE, Stellenbosch University. After practising in the public sector from 1975 to 1983, ending up as head of the Administration Planning Department of the West Rand, Prof Geyer started teaching at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at North-West University, before joining ……. During his career, Prof Geyer has coordinated a vast number of local and international governmental and academic research projects. He has also published various papers and works, including The International Handbook of Urban Systems (2002), Global Regionalization (2006) and a commissioned series consisting of three volumes of The International Handbook of Urban Policy (2007/2009/2011).
