During a scintillating evening of excellent hockey throughout, the final honours of Steinhoff Summer League winners went to the teams of Bloemhof (ladies) and Helderberg (men).
B Pink had to defend their title against Bloemhof, and with the score still 0-0 at full time, the ladies final went into the sudden death one-on-one shoot outs, where Bloemhof managed to take the title.
The men’s final saw some brilliant hockey, with both teams attacking at times and having to defend at others. The spectators were treated to a great exhibition of skilled hockey. Well done to Helderberg who took the honours from Paul Roos.
