This talk was given in August 2011, third year medical students at Tygerberg Hospital Learn how to manage tibial shaft fractures as well as pilon fractures. This presentation emphesizes the conservative treatment of these common fratures. Open fractures are common i this reason and the management of these injuries is dealt with.
