Restoring landscapes through holistic management

The 5th in a series of 5 talks brought to you by ShareScreen Africa and AWEI.

By applying the ancient skill of herding within a holistic decision-making framework, ecosystems across Southern Africa can be regenerated. This leads to productive farms and climate resilient communities. Johan Bouwer from the Herding Academy will demonstrate that by using livestock to mimic the herd and migration effect of the once ancient wild herds roaming our ecosystems, the sustainability of local livelihoods can be ensured.
