AWEI will be presenting a session at the Conservation Optimism Summit titled "Scaling up Africa's Wildlife Economy"
In this session we will explore the international policy mandate for the wildlife economy and the emerging support for the wildlife economy across Africa - from national government to regional economic communities to the African Union. We will also look at examples where the wildlife economy is already delivering conservation outcomes from the sustainable and legal use of wild animal and plant species.
