Our work supports human wellbeing, protects important landscapes and develops better human-nature relationships for the benefit of the African continent.
AWEI is working together with Oppenheimer Generations Research and Conservation (OGRC) to scale up impactful research on the wildlife economy across Africa.
The partnership includes a supporting operational grant for 5 years starting in mid-2021 and close collaboration on research projects, communications, and engagement with key stakeholders.
