Klarine Schutte Bio: Klarine Schutte is a passionate conservationist and community developer. She holds a BScAgric in Agricultural Economics from the University of Pretoria and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree at Stellenbosch University. With a background in agricultural economics, her research focuses on the impact of game loan and donation programs on disadvantaged farmers in South Africa.
In addition to her academic work, Klarine is deeply involved in conservation initiatives, including a roan breeding program in Kruger National Park. She has also led community projects, such as establishing a library and a community hall within Skukuza, aimed at supporting the local residents. Klarine is committed to bridging the gap between conservation and socio-economic development to uplift rural communities.
