Mr Abdulai Barrie is a young and enthusiastic leader who is passionate about Conservation Entrepreneurship. He hopes to develop innovative ways that can socially and economically benefit businesses whilst protecting biodiversity. He believes that there is a need for transformative and scalable solutions for conservation challenges that are present in today’s world. Currently, Abdulai is majoring in Wildlife Conservation at the African Leadership University.
At AWEI, Abdulai is contributing to the institute's wildlife economy research. He is looking at wildlife economy opportunities in his home country, Sierra Leone, as case study.
