Dr Elizabeth Pienaar is Associate Professor for Human Dimensions of Wildlife Conservation, Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, University of Georgia, USA. She holds a Ph.D. Agricultural and Resource Economics (University of California, Davis) and leads the Pienaar Lab; her research is on incentives for private conservation, stated preference estimation, live animal trade, and how to change people’s behavior to achieve conservation outcomes.
