Prof Kennedy Dzama is an award-winning livestock geneticist. He holds a doctorate in animal breeding and genetics from the Texas A&M University, USA. His research focus is on the genomic evaluation of African animal genetic resources.
Kennedy is Vice-Dean of the Faculty of AgriSciences, Stellenbosch University, responsible for research, innovation and postgraduate studies. In addition to be Chair of AWEI's Advisory Board, he is also a member of the Management Committee.
