Caring for the Earth: A Strategy for Sustainable Living
The successor to the World Conservation Strategy published in 1980, this global strategy for a sustainable society, is intended to restate current thinking about conservation and development in an informative and encouraging way, and is orientated towards practical action. It sets targets for the changes in our lives that will move us towards a sustainable society and urges a concerted effort to make this ethic a global force in personal, national and international relations.
