Wildlife Law in the Southern African Development Community
Part I of this paper starts with an overview of the international legal instruments related to wildlife management, including those adopted at the regional level... Common trends are then analyzed, and accompanied with suggestions for the drafting of legal provisions that may help in ensuring that sustainable wildlife management benefits the most vulnerable members of society, in particular indigenous and local communities... An overview of the legal framework applicable to wild animals in each of the fifteen SADC countries is presented in Part II.
