Zakiya Abrahams

Zakiya Abrahams completed her Honours degree in Environmental and Geographical Sciences at the University of Cape Town. During an internship at the African Climate and Development Initiative, Zakiya was exposed to and gained experience in working on the water, energy and food nexus project. She currently works at a renewable energy development company as a project manager and her interest in Just Energy Transitions stems from her everyday work in developing wind and solar projects across South Africa.
