CST researcher Maike Hamann will introduce her work on the relationships between socio-economic inequalities and environmental change, drawing on insights from an international research collaboration. She will outline a framework on “inequality and the biosphere”, and describe current research directions under this broad theme, including lessons learned for sustainable development from the COVID-19 pandemic and the stark inequalities it has laid bare.
