Project Description
The progress made in renewable energy technologies, modular manufacturing systems and information and communication technologies, among others, provide unique opportunity to promote the development of distributed local economy networks that are inclusive and low carbon.
Exploring and promoting the dynamic links between distributed renewable energy systems and local economy development with a purpose of adding economic values, creating jobs and providing sustainable livelihood is the main objective of the programme on Distributed Renewable Economy for Africa’s Transformation.
